  1. Download and Install (follow on-screen instructions) the requisite software, Microsoft .Net Framework v2.0 or later version
  2. Download and Install Flash Disk Cleaner (follow on-screen instructions)
  Optional: follow-up installation (step 3 & 4)
  1. Download and Install Microsoft PowerToys for Windows - TweakUI (follow on-screen instructions)
  2. Run Microsoft PowerToys for Windows - TweakU and go to:
    1. TweakUI -> My Computer -> AutoPlay -> Drives -> Unchecked all Drives
    2. TweakUI -> My Computer -> AutoPlay -> Types -> Unchecked "Enable Autoplay for removable drives"
    3. Click Apply then OK

  3. Restart your computer to take affect all the changes and you're done!
Flash Disk Cleaner Installation (Microsoft Windows Vista)
  1. Download and Install Flash Disk Cleaner (follow on-screen instructions)
  2. After installation, go to Control Panel -> Autoplay and disable the autoplay feature to tighten your computer security against malicious files from the removal drives.
  3. Run Flash Disk Cleaner!
